All participants sign a waiver prior to payment for all camps and programs. All coaching staff are familiar with the ski resorts, the ski patrol phone number and accident protocols.
Each resort area has its own professional Ski Patrol that provides first responder care.
Each resort areas are within 20 minutes drive time of medical care facilities.
Should an accident occur coaches/contractors will immediately initiate a call to the local patrol who will assume primary care and be responsible for resort evacuation of the injured and delivery to the local hospital.
Family will be contacted and support by WJSA will be provided until family support arrives.
Each contracted coach is required to have their own personal travel, medical and Death and
dismemberment insurance.
All coaches and contractors will provide key contacts in case of emergency.
Should an accident occur, the local professional patrol will be immediately called to assume
responsibility for the injured.
Insurance agencies will be notified and consulted on arrangements for the injured.
Family will be contacted and support by WJSA will be provided until family support arrives.
